Objective- Does increasing the force on an object increase te acceleration on an object?
Hypothesis- I predict the Halls Cart will move up wheb the weight gets to be to much.
Materials-
Tape
Rod
String
Paper Clip
Halls Cart
100g
Washers
First Test
Washers distance
0 29
2 27
3 17.5
Second Test
Washers speed
2 rest
4 slow
6 fast
Third Test
Washers Speed
0 rest
3 rest
6 fast
9 really fast
Conclusion- The Hall's Cart speeds up the more you put Washers on it.My Hypothesis wash almost correct because it did weigh the cart down.

Newtons law Experiment 3

Subject Question- Do Objects in motion really continue in motion unless acted upon by an external force?
Hypothesis-I predict that the 100 gram mass weight will fall off the cart once it hits the ramp and the cart will stop moving.Proving Newton Law which states that any object in motion will remain in motion unless acted on by an outside force.
Materials -
Halls Cart
Ramp
Card Board
100 gram mass weight
Tape
Procedure- First I taped the card board onto the Halls Cart, and then put the 100g mass weight on it. Lastly I pushed the cart into the ramp to get mt results.
Test 1 The cart stopped moving and the gram fell off.
Test 2 The cart stopped moving and the gram fell off.
Test 3 The cart stopped moving and the gram fell off.
Test 4 The cart stopped moving and the gram fell off.
Conclusion-
The 100g mass weight fell off of the cart and it stopped moving.Newtons law was right any object in motion will continue in motion unless acted upon by an outside force . This experiment can be used in the real world with test theories for example if the people who make cars want to know what will happen when a car rolls down a hill, they could test it out and see that it will eventually stop once the outside force acts on it.

Alternative Energy part 2

Solar Power is safe, clean and Ecosystem friendly but it cost five times as much as gas the solar panels take up a lot of space you house might not be in a good angle to receive sun and at night when theres no sun you have to find a way to store it.
Water energy is cheap, clean, safe and efficient but it takes animals away from there natural habitat and you need long transmission lines to carry the power.
Wind energy is also cost efficient and energy efficient but the wind mills take up to much because sometimes they can be 20 stories high.there noisy and to install them it cost between 45,000 and 50,000 dollars
Out of all of them I would use water because all you really have to worry about is the transmission lines , Even though S0olar power works fine you would have to worry about your power going out at night or on a cloudy day.

Utopian Energy

I think Solar power is good and it doesn't harm the environment but it cost more than Gas.
Wind Energy is good but its expensive and unpredictable.
I would use Biofuel or agrofuel, its when you use solid, liquids or gas from dead plant in material to make energy. I think thats good because it doesn't hurt the environment and your not wasting anything because your using dead material.
The Island of Gana

In the 18 century two Quakers came to Guana for something called the Quaker experience it lasted 45 years and they used African slaves to do work for them.
In 1934 Beth and Louis Bigelow bought it and built six houses and became pioneers.
In 1975 Henry and Gloria Jarecki purchased it and started improving the land for the people.
I think you cant build a Utopia with slave because you cant have peace and free will if you forcing people to do something.
I don't think you should be able to buy Utopia because some people can't afford it so only rich people would have it.

Newton's Second law

Experiment 2
Problem- Is the force required to get an object moving the same, less or more than the force required to keep an object moving.
Object- The object of this lab was to prove if Newtons second law is tru or not.
Hypothesis- I think that more force is required to move an object from rest then to keep it going because to start an object moving you have to give it an extra tug more then it you were just pulling it at a constant speed.
Tug Mass
1 30g
2 45g
3 85g
Jerk Mass
1 20g
2 70g4
3 40g
Constant
Test Mass
1 30g
2 30g
Faster
Test Mass
1 45g
2 45g
Materials-
String
Cart
200 gram weight
Spring Scale
Procedure- First I had to tie the string to the cart and the loop the other end ant tie it to the spring scale.
Next I had to put the weight on the cart and pull it around the table and record the progress.
Conclusin- The Chart shows that it takes more force to keep an object in motion then it does to start it.My hypothesis was incorrect. It does follow Newton's Second law.
Newton's First Law

Experiment 1
Problem- Will an object at rest remain at rest unless moved by an external force.
Objective- The purpose of this lab is to prove if Newtons first law is true.
Hypothesis- I predict that once the ramp is pulled from under the cart, the cart will land in the same spot on the table.Proving that Newtons first law is true, which states that an object at rest will remain at rest or that an object in motion will remain constant in a straight line.
Material- Wood ramp
Ruler
Cart
Procedure- First I put took the ruler and measured 12 inches and thats how much the wood ,would hand of the table. Then I put the cart on it and pulled thewould from under it.
Conclusion- When I pulled the ramp from under the cart, it landed on the table in the exact spot it was before, proving that Newtons first law is true.

Utopian Debate ( Architect) part 4
To answer Chaz's question I think that if people wouldn't have invented things that made people feel they have to compete and get violent the world would still be peaceful.
Utopian Debate ( Architect) part 3
I guess you can use more materials but it should be kept simple so people don't try to compete with each other
Utopian Debate(Architecture) part2
I don't know you could use mud or something but if it worked along time ago it could work now.
